My Story

I'm Hany Nagar, a psychotherapist based in Ramat Gan. Originally from Mexico and living in Israel for over 15 years, I work with adults in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, both in person and online.

Many of the people who find their way to my clinic are not new to self-development. They've spent years trying to understand themselves. They've read the books, listened to the podcasts, reflected, analyzed, and gained insight into why they struggle. Yet anxiety still returns. Relationships follow familiar patterns. Burnout keeps showing up. Life changes, but something underneath remains the same.

This question has always fascinated me: Why is understanding ourselves often not enough to create change?

My work is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when insight is combined with experience. We don't only work with thoughts and stories. We also pay attention to emotions, the body, the nervous system, and the ways old patterns continue to live beneath conscious awareness.

I am a certified Transpersonal Psychotherapist through EUROTAS, a certified meditation instructor, breathwork and rebirthing practitioner, and medical massage professional. Alongside my private practice, I teach and mentor future therapists as a teaching assistant at Reidman College.

Growing up in Mexico and building a life in Israel has deeply shaped the way I understand identity, belonging, transition, and reinvention. It is one of the reasons I feel particularly connected to people navigating major life changes, immigration, cross-cultural experiences, and the challenge of finding their place in the world.

My work draws from psychotherapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, depth psychology, and contemporary understandings of trauma and nervous system regulation. Over the past 18 years, I have also studied evolutive therapeutic tarot in the lineage of Alejandro Jodorowsky, a tradition that helped shape my understanding of symbolism, meaning, and personal transformation.

People come to therapy for many reasons. Anxiety. Trauma. Burnout. Grief. Relationship challenges. A sense of feeling lost. Sometimes there is a clear problem to solve. Sometimes there is only a feeling that life has become disconnected from something important.

Therapy with me offers a space to slow down, pay attention, and understand what is asking to be heard. Not only to reduce symptoms, but to develop a deeper relationship with yourself and create meaningful change in the way you live.

Sessions are available in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, in person in Ramat Gan and online worldwide.
