Therapy for Anxiety: When Understanding Isn't Enough

Therapy for adults experiencing overthinking, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and life transitions.

Sessions available in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, in person in Ramat Gan and online throughout Israel.

Many of the people who come to see me are not new to self-reflection.

They've read the books, listened to the podcasts, spent years trying to understand themselves, and still find themselves caught in anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion.

At some point, insight stops being enough.

Understanding ourselves and being able to change are often two different things.

Anxiety therapy offers a space to move beyond understanding and begin working with the emotional, relational, and nervous system patterns that keep us stuck.

I offer anxiety therapy in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, both in person in Ramat Gan and online throughout Israel.

Why Does Anxiety Keep Coming Back?

Many people arrive in therapy frustrated because they have already spent years trying to understand themselves.

They have read the books, listened to the podcasts, learned coping strategies, and gained insight into why they struggle.

Yet anxiety continues to return.

Many people discover that knowing why they struggle is not the same as knowing how to create change.

Sometimes the problem is not a lack of understanding. Sometimes the patterns have become deeply embedded in the body, the nervous system, relationships, and daily habits.

Therapy can help uncover what keeps anxiety alive beneath the surface and create the conditions for meaningful and lasting change.

My Approach to Anxiety Therapy

My approach integrates psychotherapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and breathwork.

Together we explore not only what you think, but also how anxiety is experienced emotionally, physically, and relationally.

Some clients seek therapy for generalized anxiety, chronic stress, panic attacks, burnout, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions. Others arrive with a more difficult question: Why do I keep repeating the same patterns, even when I know better?

Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, therapy explores the deeper patterns shaping your experience and creates space for meaningful and lasting change.

Therapy for Expats and English Speakers in Israel

Originally from Mexico and living in Israel for over 15 years, I understand many of the challenges that come with building a life between cultures. Having navigated immigration and cultural adaptation myself, I understand how deeply these experiences can affect identity, belonging, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.

Relocation, identity shifts, language barriers, loneliness, and the pressure of starting over can place a significant burden on the nervous system.

Many of my clients are English or Spanish speaking immigrants, and international professionals looking for therapy in their native language and a space where the complexities of life abroad can be understood. Therapy in your native language can create a different level of nuance, emotional access, and understanding.
